Chapter 1 is legitimately a fantastic game and lasts for about 50 hours on its own. Chapter 2 is trash and more of a post-game that should be mostly ignored IMO.

No, 5 somehow managed to outdo 4's shitty story. 4 at least had its moments, meanwhile I don't even remember the story in 5. You are fighting XOF for some reason and Skull Face is some guy with no motivation who dies without a boss fight? Also PARASITES. Both had great core gameplay but 4 gives you more opportunities to use it in a greater variety of ways. Also unlike 5 it has boss fights. 5 isn't a bad game by any means but I've never seen a game waste so much potential.

It's honestly fucking trash. Empty open world with nothing to do since all of the interesting areas were completed during the "story" mode. The "story" mode I just mentioned is actually not a story at all but rather just a clusterfuck of narrative with absolutely no redeeming qualities that make you want to come back. Good combat and animations but the combat is bogged down by a retarded hud built for literal children. Atmosphere and settings are terrible, oh look a desert, how interesting. Oh look, Africa, and it all looks the same, how interesting. Etc.
