That was quick. I kinda have a mixed baggage of feelings about that, but I sort of agree. Dark Souls 2 had better pvp, more of an open world, unique builds, and Poise.
Dark Souls 3 didn't punish you for dying (losing health each death), had better boss fights, but much more annoying enemies and it was short.

I personally enjoyed it despite the numerous glaring flaws.I do wish they brought over two things from DS2 to DS3 though. Namely actual power stancing and not the two-weapon faggotry, and twinblades. I didn't get to use twinblades enough and they were fun as hell when I did use them.

In my DaS1 playthrough I went through as a DEX build with a bit of STR, and a +8 pyro flame to not be too overpowered but still add some uniqueness to the combat. Used Great Chaos Fireball and Power Within, shit was fun as fuck. DEX weapons are also great in that game.

That could describe a lot of fights in this series though. He's more aggressive than Arty, has a Crossbow, miracles, cape attacks and three different phases. I can kinda see how he's reminiscent of Artorias in the first phase, but "basically the same fight" is one hell of a stretch, especially for the second and third phase.

I agree with an exception for ds3. It was enjoyable for awhile but eventually I got tired of the atmosphere and combat. And while it did try to be more like ds1, it failed to grasp the quality the world setting in 1 had.

This is all my opinion, of course.

Also, favorite build has to be quality overall. Not much of a magic or miracles guy, pyromancy is all right though.

Love the bone fist in ds2, always dual caestus anyways.

Artorias' Abyss Sword is my favorite weapon in 1, usually with no off hand weapon

Demon's souls will always be my boy penetrator's sword and board

And Bloodborne is Beast Claws.

i'm at o&s, and while it is easier to kill pikachu first and deal with super snorlax, i want to switch it up a bit and kill fattie first. i haven't been this frustrated since i was 15 and the electricity went out during one of my masturbation marathons.

You use the name engraved ring (buy it from the cat in majula), and pick the same god. It doesn't guarantee it, but ups your chances significantly. Being in the sunlight covenant helps as well.

I beat the kings pet and am currently working on finding those other dudes for in the chaos pit. I found another one of those shrines too but I can't remember where off the top of my head. The winter one was the only one I could go through at the time though so that's where I went.
