Honestly the whole Deliverence crew are pretty good. That DLC was pretty great at fleshing them all out. I was even worried they'd fuck up Fernand's relationship with the others since writing somebody to be a childhood friend gone awry and then trying to fill in those blanks of their past later an go so wrong so easily. I loved Thabes, but that's pretty much of the way it told a standalone story in the dungeon.
I loved that they showed what Grima really was rather than just being another Earth Dragon and why Risen wear masks.
Grima being an experiment borne of his activities on bringing inanimate flesh to life and a combination of human and dragon blood. It also explains why Grima's life is tied to a human's (Forneus's blood), how he was unleashed on the world (Alm/Celica unsealed the lab), and why he cannot die by just having his dragon body be killed. Great boss fight too, nice ominous atmosphere in the dungeon.

Loptyr and Medeus don't really look like Grima that much. Grima's appearance seems influenced more by the feathery, floaty wings of divine dragons, plus a few insectile features and a distinctly humanoid face that is only visible in Awakening.
It's pretty clear out of the gate that Grima is a different species than the Earth Dragons simply by his own biology.
Another thing I liked was that it possibly implied that Robin was the descendent of Forneus, hence their blood being bound to Grima.

Actually before CQfags come to shit up the thread there's typically discussion of all the aspects of any given FE title, including but not limited to gameplay.
