Feels pretty shitty I can't use my STR Shenron now who was almost maxed aside from his SA Potential path.

I bet we have to wait months without this category shit and we'll get no decent compensation for incomplete units.

I got a SS4 goku last night then immediately trained him to max level and Z awakened him. I have 5 other SSR STR units i am able to make a team with that just barely fits under my cost, currently only rank 30. After looking at leader skills it would seem that STR SSB Goku is a better leader for my team than SSR SSJ4 Goku because i dont have enough awakening medals or team cost to get my other STR units up to Super/Extreme. Am i correct or is SSJ4 Goku still a better leader despite being the only super STR character on the team?

For now, yes, because you need to have Awakened Super characters for SS4 Goku's leader skill to matter, but thats very hard when you just started out and still need to rank up a ton to increase your cost. He can make a good sub in the meantime while you train.

I awakened an SSR beerus i got when i started and somewhat regret it because i didnt realize how valuable awakening medals can be. Changing him to leader is fairly easy. Go to change all, hit remove all, then reselect your team starting with Piccolo. I used that Piccolo for a while too. I recommend just going through story mode for now. Dont worry about awakening anyone until you are rank 30 or so. I've only been playing a week so if more experienced anons have better advice feel free to correct me.

ss vegito is one of the best units in the game and a great leader alongside with vegeto blue.
Build an agl team with blue vegito as leader and place your ss vegito, rose, teq gojeta (for the team links) agl goku (he has a rebirth) agl blue goku which is quite good, agl trunks and you are set.

Global Gojeta and Omega are literal trash. Gojeta more than Omega since there isn't a single optimal team for him.

There is a reason: no leader skills.
Since global lacks the 120% meta (it jumped straight into the 150%) the leader skills from gojeta and omega are non active in global. Dokkan needs to release the 120% units first, before you can use Gojeta or Omega (phy gotenks and phy cooler, int gojeta, super 17)
Basically, gojeta and omega are only going to be useful once that meta arrives..

JPN dokkan i don't know. I haven't checked those units in jpn. I'm guessing they are pretty good. They are the first two leaders for the new 150% meta
