I dont need exclusives honestly, most games are simply comfier to play on the Switch. Even indies game become something to look up to like Stardew Valley or Wargroove just because portability, they feel like a chore to play any other way.

I really hope the console keeps momentum and we get to see those hidden gems of Ps2/Wii era. Anyone actually hoping for it to fail are the cancer that its killing the industry

Artificial Scarcity is real, and Nintendo practices it. Look at the NES mini, they STOPPED production even though there are hundereds of thousands of people who want one still.

They even announced the SNES Classic will be a limited run as well. And scalpers are selling their fucking preorders for the damn things.


Do you see anything CLOSE to this happening to Sony or Microsofts consoles? And dont tell me there isn't as high as demand. They've boasted much higher sales numbers on consoles current & in the past compared to nintendo.

Too early to judge this console. We need to wait until the later half of next year that's what will make or break this console.

That said I like it for its ability to play console games on the go(like the PSP did during its time)but its going to need a bit more third-party support to build momentum.

So far Disgaea 5 and Fate Extella came out(which already came out on the PS4 last year)but comes with all the DLC to make up for that. You have a couple of western/jp indies making it on it to stall for a while but its certainly isn't enough.

The first real simultaneous third-party support the console will receive will be Fifa 18 and Night of Azure 2 which come out in September and October. Fifa 18 will come out simultaneously on it September 29 for all current platforms, including legacy platforms such as the PS3 and X360. The Fifa 18 will be something in between the PS3 and PS4 version of the game. It will support the same physics and game mechanics of the PS4 as well as its unique local multiplayer but it will omit the entire story mode, something that the PS3/X360 versions will also omit.

Night of Azure 2 will come out sometime in October both on the PS4 and Switch. The games look to be identical so far in graphics and performance but the PS4 will obviously have better performance and bloom effects than the Switch but you can play it portability on the Switch which is actually ideal for people who have a family and want to play these kind of games to themselves.
