I play a lalafell because it's the only unique looking race in the game (except the ugly muscle hulks). It's also hilarious to see everyone in the game obsessing over a lalafell as being the strongest hero in the world and asking for tips how to get stronger. Playing a lalafell dragoon is hilarious during the Heavensward story.

Playing lalafell also gives you a unique view of the world. You technically move as fast as everyone else. But with the smaller body, it gives the appearance that you run faster and jump higher than the other races. If you don't believe me, make an elf and then compare it to a lalafell. The Elf feels like you're running through molasses at all times. While the lalafell takes six steps in the same time it takes the elf to take one.

Of course you didn't really want an answer. You just hate lalafells to look cool with the bandwagon.

Haven't gotten up to the latest content in the game so I can't be sure about that, but even if we fail a DPS check, the blame generally doesn't rest solely on one person unless they were really obviously faffing about. As a healer I'll have those occasional nightmare scenarios of "whoops meant to pop benediction but accidentally cast regen now the tank is dead and we're in a cascading failure state that it's entirely my responsibility to fix" Healing is pretty ez a lot of the time, but god damn when it rains, it pours. and honestly it's usually when I'm having the most fun with the job

After the first fire 3 all dps get right into the center of the boss. Tanks/healers coordinate their black holes around the edge until Holy starts to cast and their fire 3's go off then they collapse into the middle for the soak.

There's till RNG but that helps minimize that

Is square Enix ever going to do anything about all the garbage players at endgame that make it impossible to PUG anything?
eg. I cleared A11S like 2 weeks into 3.4 and then 2 weeks later couldn't farm it anymore because everyone must have gotten carried or something. Never got a chance at A12S because no one wanted to teach it anymore, and honestly I can't blame them.

Its the worst with EX primals though because the barrier for entry is even lower so just getting that clear is like pulling teeth. I really want to raid but my schedule is unstable and I don't have enough free time to justify spending 20 hours trying to clear a fight with randoms when I had it down perfectly after a single lockout.

How to make DRKs stop complaining:

Most groups cant even beat the DPS check on O2S, much less clear all 4 floors.
(Good luck finding a group that can even do the mechanics of O2S, even if they have multiple clears, they still mess it up every single damn time.)

While I dont really think the fights are that hard, I dont think they are easy either.

O3S I feel is pretty reasonable, except it does have a bit of RNg when it comes to who gets targeted by what near the end, and sometimes there just isnt going to be a good ending.
Havent set foot in O4S, so I cant say anything on its difficulty.
(Also I call BS on your exaggerated 50%+ beat O4S since most groups cant beat O2S.)

The Water Village Raen are a group that migrated and settled; the actual Raen homeland is a location we might yet visit in a future expansion. If I recall its a mountainous place and the road to Garlemeld is full of mountains, so I'd be cautiously optimistic of them showing up in 5.0.
