As much as I understand the idea behind having PC-powerleveled enemies around, these guys were just pirates sitting in a tavern, they shouldn't be able to take multiple space rock on their faces and deathly incantations just to end up "injured"

There is something about the winter and barbarians making every citizen at least level 19 by the time they turn 19.

I was actually surprised how anti-magic MotB was. Usually epic level campaigns are DBZ-levels of high fantasy magic bullshit. MotB was filled with so many magic resistant enemies your best bet was to actually go full physical.

Well shit, I don't know what to tell you. All I can say is Meteor Swarm is rancid dog shit, and you will always be better off with a good Maximised spell, like Delayed Fireball, and if RoD isn't doing the job, try using Banshee's Wail.
