I love playing sniper and im completely mediocre most of the time when it comes to pulling the trigger... i dont even care for the one shot kill kind of thing. But i like playing it as a support for the strike team and relaying info back and forth. Might be weird but thats why i think its fun.

Doctrinal issue. US typically attaches them to any old infantry unit and then tells them to fuck off and do some real nigga shit when needed. Basically like a breacher, but against things really far away instead of doors. Canada on the other hand exclusively does marksman and spotter combos, which is why a fucking leaf has held the top shot award for most of modern history, including right now.

That's exactly it. Infantry guys usually kill in the heat of battle, often in self defense. It's kill or be killed for them.

Snipers end lives from a relatively safe position, after taking a good look at the target. Quite often the target isn't openly hostile at the moment. They're essentially assassins.
