Sounds like the Ur-Devil strategy in EOU2 which involves using a troubadour to give several survivalists an elemental property on their attack, activating their Forces so they do follow-up attacks and then starting a massive grimoire'd chain of Chaser skills that proc other chasers that get followed up by their burst attack which procs more chasers which get followed up by burst attacks, etc etc until it dies.

I used the faffy+DH smashdown method, I had the grims to spare.
