Funny isn't it. With region-locked consoles you could mod them at some point and then simply play those games. With pseudo-"region-free" consoles you can buy your game wherever you like (in theory, see Piss3) and then get it censored because your console region information data.

Actual region free consoles would not have that data anywhere at all.

The problem with Layton was the ending, it deserves a high spot on my list for the amount of fanservice it has (Interaction between Phoenix and Maya made me remember the good ol' trilogy days)
Apollo was uh, well you know, but its potential was huge and the fact that they didn't follow up on it, but basically retconned 8 years of Phoenix's life made me mad.
I hope they reboot the new trilogy with one where AJ isn't a flop and it can focus on the Gramayes without Phoenix as a plotpoint.
