Certainly not as good as some make it out to be.

I'm glad they still managed to use the formula of "wacky adventures on the one side and family drama on the other" without having the two interact too much, and without the wacky adventures being a continuous story arc.
Though I fully expect this series to turn into an Adventure Time style "serious ocerarcing story" by season 4 or 5.

I like rick & morty. Especially appreciate their /sci/ level of autism they put into little details such as the isotope level of substances actually corresponding well with real life high energy substances would behave.

The last time a sci-fi cartoon put really /sci/ thoughts into it was when a Mathematician PhD actually put out a paper theorem for a formula that aired on futurama.

Rick & Morty is still better. And probably the best adult cartoon I've seen.

Although I admit that reddit seems to like the show for the wrong reasons which is probably why /v/ is slowly starting to hate on it. Not realizing that they have to look at the brilliant aspects of it. And realize that it was never meant to be enjoyed in the reddit way.

How has s3 lost the original charm? The two episodes so far are good. Not as great as the episodes with the Kronenberg creatures or with Rick's multi-person girlfriend, but good episodes. The thing with Morty's arm is a pretty classic Rick and Morty moment.

I feel you about the later half of season 2 though, those two episodes where they just watch tv are pretty lazy, even if some of the sketches are funny.

Not much point without a new season but still its far from a bad show. It has its problems but i don't think i've hated a single episode.
