When I played Bloodborne and realized From still hasnt realised non-connected hub and warping from the start is fucking terrible.

It's not a recent game but I've been replaying The Sims 3 recently and I forgot how stupid the attraction system is.

In The Sims 2 they had chemistry which is based on personality compatibility between the two sims. There are degrees of compatibility, interactions are buffed, easier to get along, have a romantic relationship, etc.. Worked fairly well.

In The Sims 3 the first time one sim is in proximity to another sim the game rolls a dice to decide if there is "chemistry". There are no degrees of chemistry, it's either they are obsessed with that sim or they aren't. There are some bonus points from compatible traits and shit but the majority of the score comes from RNG. "Chemistry" is actually closer to being stalked, happily married sims will call strangers and bug them for dates as well as sending them expensive items as gifts, items you can sell to make a lot of money very quickly, just because the attraction system is compelling them to. It's such a bad system and it's so strange because it was reasonably fine in The Sims 2. Also, online dating is stupid. Every single person in town, whether they are happily in a relationship or not, will have a dating profile. Sims ultimately wind up getting propositioned by everyone.

The near entirety of Dark Souls III.

Dark Souls II, some of castle Drangleic. The fridged wastes in the dlc. Earthen Peak, and Iron Keep but only the scholar edition.

Dark Souls I, bed of chaos, though I know there were time and budget constraints. Probably darkroot. Duke's archives, first half and run to Seath.

Bloodborne, the damage scaling on most of the late game enemies. Putting gascoigne so early, he's a noobkiller in all aspects, though maybe thats the point. The fucking machine gun Djura operates in Old Yarhnam, it's awesome but what the fuck. And lastly, for a hunter there are sadly too few actual werewolf like enemies in the game. That was the original point right? We're supposed to dispose of the beasts of Yarnahm. Not the random alien fuckers.

I know it's just ranting on the series for the most part but that was always what I was thinking.

Episode 12 of Gravity Rush 2. It's objectively the low point of the game and a camera that bad should've never made it past QA. They should've redone the section completely if they couldn't get the camera to work in such closed spaces, or at least changed up the interior to not look so damn samey.

Legitimately this game. A lot of people seem to be nostalgic as hell about it. It's shit. Absolute shit. The concept of content is entirely predicated around hunting for random items scattered through the world and taking photos of them, and a lot of shit is permanently missable. So it has the worst aspect of the Metroid Prime games, and then on top of it the game is like 50% cutscenes and everything is fucking horrible.

Dark Cloud 2 is all balls and no shaft. There's nothing to play with.

The last two levels of Viewtiful Joe 2.

Ice Leo was a fucking pain to fight, and once you eventually beat him you're given a boss rush mode to go through which also has Ice Leo again, and once you eventually beat that you're given ANOTHER stage to go through that's just full of enemies that love to do 3 hearts worth of damage. I can't even remember most of it, it just turns into one super long level where I'm dealing with shit that wasn't fun to fight or play. I think there was even a puzzle or two in there for some reason.
