Horribly balanced game. Should have had a more gradual difficulty curve instead of massive jumps in difficulty that you trivialize after getting new gear. Also, should have launched with 100 more floors than it did.

They added unique weapons for certain times, made mushrooms far less OP due to bad variants of helpful mushroms appearing(slow mo mushroom will usually be cats eye mushroom, which hurts you while you're in slow motion, bad variant of instakill mushroom may not activate instakill state)and fixed weapon durability of higher tier weapons

I still cant get past the fucking floor 23 boss. I just don't do enough damage.
I've been farming black metal from floor 22 on-and-off for weeks but my weapons barely tickle him.
how do I get gud?

Sorry, durability shit killed it for me. If it weren't for that I would still be playing to this day cause I love everything else about this game. But that durability though, no sane person should defend such a SHIT mechanic.

I kinda agree. I normally like durability on weapons in games because it usually means you have to try different weapons, and it does work like that early on in this game but eventually you NEED upgraded equipment all the time to not get completely fucked.

Shame the general on /vg/ died.
