Fucking hell I wish we could nuke them again.

Post an example, please.

>>385984909
So you're saying that the katakana words are "made up"?
>>385984909
There's absolutely nothing made up about that poster. デビル has about 16 million results on google, and I didn't even bother searching for dijitaru because it's obvious it's going to be the same way. git gud
>>385985996
We were discussing the game, not the poster. You idiot.
>>385986265
>post some made up words
>here's a poster
>those words aren't made up
>we're not talking about the poster
Fine, whatever. Post a screen shot of text from the game with words that are "made up".

It can go both ways.
Aren't all words made up?
>>385986717
This really cranks my cranium.
>>385983949
>>385986265
Post a cap and I'll translate it for you with my shitty tier Japanese.

Try the earlier one already posted. >>385985106
>Learn Japanese for video games
>End up getting distracted down the line and try to learn how to master japanese food instease
It's less pathetic at least I guess
>>385987489
How far did you get? I enjoy Jap cuisine and always looking for authentic stuff to eat.
>>385987178
Since it was that game he probably meant stuff like ボアットナ which is a spell, but it's obvious that spells and stuff like that will have foreign sounding names. It's not like Western games don't do that either.

>一瞬, 自分が少女になったような倒錯を感じてしまう。
>まるで異性のNPCに潜り込んでプレイを楽しむスクリプト・キディの気分だ。
For an instant, you feel like you were reversed into a girl. A feeling almost as if an script kiddie was enjoying a game of turning you into an NPC of the opposite sex.
The "you" was assumed but it mostly depends on the context of the previous paragraphs, they may be talking about someone else. But there's nothing odd about those sentences. Maybe script kiddie? I can't believe you don't know what that means.
>>385984909

IS THAT A JOJO REFERENCE?
>>385988383
I just wanted to see what you meant by "my shitty tier Japanese".
>learn programming to make game

All words are made up.
>>385988664
I never said that, my only post on this thread other than that one was >>385985996

Goddess Rebirth: Digital Devil Story
>>385988664
>>385989516
Also, you still haven't posted any made up word. Script kiddie is a common slang
>Have to go to japan for work
>Learn basic gook

Time to get a really hobby weebs
>>385989680
I find that very hard to believe, I've heard Japanese people talk in English in real life, all of them pretty young, and they suck. The only one who didn't was a girl who was Japanese but wasn't even born there. Also I'm friends with people who go to Japan regularly and they all agree that you must know Japanese to get around
>>385989516
>>385989595
I'm not the OP either. You offered to translate Japanese, there was a previous post which had some Japanese, I asked you to translate it, you did, thank you.
>>385989029

Oh, right. We still don't have any examples of the made up words, I think OP just sucks

They are lying

Gee so basically Tokyo's most important line has the names of the stations in English. That's a far cry from living and working there.

>>385989972
One of my bosses vacations there every year. Him and his wife don't know any Japanese and he says it's not necessary at all.
>>385989972
Depends on where you go. Most touristy towns you'll do just fine, but go anywhere outside of that, you need either some basic moon or a translator.
>>385994696
This. Tokyo was fine for the most part, but further out it became harder and harder to rely on verbals. Still doable with non-verbals, basic english, and maps/markers, but a pain.
>>385991667
>Gee so basically Tokyo's most important line has the names of the stations in English
"roman letters"
>>385993791
>houshou student
>bullshit, there's no way I would lose to an ancient human
I have no idea why the fuck he's talking about ancient humans and I may be reading the name of the school wrong because I'm on my phone and I don't have the names dictionary add on so I'm saying the one that seems most likely
>>385996509
No, bilingual signs in Japan are in English whenever a word that isn't a name comes up.
>>385997243
I'm actively playing it and I don't even remember the reading for the school.
>>385998003
What's up with the ancient humanity stuff? I know that's what those kanji mean for sure but I can't figure out what he meant by that.
>>385998337
It's a cyberpunk kinda story and he considers himself to be a better human because he was created with genetic engineering like the movie gattaca.
>>385989680
>when somebody goes to a shitty tourist trap town and is surprised that most staff know basic English, or have a menu you can point to
Tokyo is literally the worst part of Japan now. Anyone who vacations there is an idiot, most of the wards are absolutely terrible.
