Ocarina of Time is pretty bad, don't be upset if you feel like you don't get it. People just like it because of nostalgia and because it was arguably innovative at the time.

Super Mario 64 is still a great game, so feel free to really sink your teeth in and spend a lot of time with it.

Banjo-Kazooie is the best platformer on the '64, but it's really bright and kiddy. If you like Ocarina, definitely play Majora

Ocarina of time is one of the greatest games ever made, Mario 64 was barely worth playing even back then. Keep buying consoles and carts until you're sick of spending your money and ready to move on to emulators, they are much easier to use. The wall of classic games you've missed is too high to climb honestly so you're better off just shooting yourself and hope for jesus to preload the game experiences in your brain otherwise enjoy the next 20 years of wasting your life doing what some of us did as children.

A Link to the Past is still the best IMO since 2D formulas had been perfected at that point and there was not much linearity to ruin it. All the ones on the gameboy are not far behind, Link between worlds could have been much better, if not the best if they let you unlock items as you find them in the world rather then give you all of them at once
