Why does this game runs SO FUCKING BAD? I can run TW3, that looks miles better btw, at high-ultra and 50-60 FPS and this shitty arma mod runs drops to 40 FPS with everything but textures at LOW, freezes every other minute, textures take half an hour to load etc. So, is everyone playing on a $1500 PC or what?

If you play singleplayer your fps is fine. It's just that the servers most people buy are crap or overload it with too many mods unlike battlegrounds servers which have min 50 server fps.

There is your problem. Arma doesn't run that well if you play with a cpu that has 6 cores because they don't use them. an i5-3570 which is a just bit stronger then your cpu would gain a lot more frames.

I'm not trying to shill for intel, i just made a comparison with 2 old cards that have almost the same performace but run different with arma. I do really wish amd got a bigger market share so there is some competition which is always good. Intel jews really fucked up with their X series.
