Yes, I would rather them be free DLC, but at least they are guaranteed to be included.

As far as I know everyone at Marvel hates Perlmutter and he's the reason why it took this long for AAA Marvel games to start getting made again.

X-men could potentially be DLC simply because Marvel doesn't want them in the story mode but are fine with them in the roster, the original leaks suggested as much.

I unironically think the game can look quite visually nice at times.

In dark areas it looks like ass but when it's brightly lit the color palette shines through and I think it can pop quite nicely.

I played the story demo and loved when I could actually play the damn game. The visuals are underwhelming though people have every right to complain about them when MvC1/2 came out over 15 years ago and still have better animations

This is what worries me most.

If there's a completely serviceable autocombo won't that mean that it will be used to finish off a lot of low HP opponents since it's so safe? Even at high play people fuck up inputs.

Why would the presence or absence of characters make a game good or not? Either it's fun or it isn't.

ToD combos are a common thing in MvC games, don't be surprised if high level players start finding them at a rapid pace once the game comes out.

It looks fun, but I definitely won't get it at launch.
There just aren't enough new characters yet. The biggest slap in the face is that two of the very few confirmed new characters are DLC.
Also, I thought Daredevil would be a shoo-in, since he's the face of Marvel TV. I don't want to pick up the game until he's in.

The neglect Daredevil has been shown overall is really puzzling.

He's considered by many to be Marvel's greatest character and has always been the cult favorite.
