I just started Dark Souls 2 properly after owning the cunt for a good couple of years.

It's MUCH harder than Dark Souls 1 at least, but part of that is because enemies just rotate towards you mid animation.

So far the bosses have been fairly fucking decent though. I really liked the Pursuer, although I liked him more when I realised Iframes were tied to a stat.

Oh yeah and I suppose this is as good a place to ask as any, I'm probably gonna go for a Katana and I don't like using shields, do quality builds work well in this one or should I still pump my dex?

To be honest you're the one I think is autistic here. Roll for builds is common across multiple games with build variety. I mean I've seen Terraria and Dragon's Dogma get a fuckload of replies, and Dark Souls is more popular and build variety matters a lot more in it than Terraria.
