Wotlk servers are the most popular types of private servers. It goes like this:
Wotlk> vanilla >>>>>>>>> tbc >other expansions
I honestly don't know why there aren't any good TBC servers(and there are few TBB servers in general) , but if there were then TBC would be as popular as vanilla
