Golden is better in every way, but the original is still fantastic. If there are other Vita games you're interested in, I'd recommend buying a Vita TV. They're really cheap, only like $50. I've seen them as low as $20 before too.

Like all Persona games, the default game was filled with flaws. Atlus, never known for being reasonable or cheap, decided to release yet another new version for the Vita. Not only was that version more convenient, it was by far more fun and complete compared to the PS2 version.
