I haven't played a Disgaea since 2, but I did play I am Setsuna and the game is kind of ass. It was very cheaply made and the game makes way too many stupid decisions for the combat, mostly in skill acquisition and skill balance.

Will I ever be able to spend less than 50 dollars on a physical copy of I am Setsuna?

They are, but the way i see it is because the Switch has a small library of games wich makes niche games more appealing.

Also there was virtually no downgrade for the port aside from resolution and a bit more lag on the asagi level but even the ps4 had some hiccups there.

I am Setsuna if you want atmosphere, Disgaea if you want gameplay.

I don't know the price, but I am Setsuna worth $20 easy. Has a good art style, very good sound track, and the gameplay is literally chrono trigger with some added mechanics. Worst part is no side quests until the end, so its straight forward. It is also easy, but most RPGs are easy.

Disgaea is an SRPG, completely different. That said, D5 is great and I wholeheartedly encourage you to get it.

I have a switch and I like it but to say its actually portable in any practical way is laughable because the battery lasts two hours tops.
