Yeah, I played RJ204823 just last night, and it was hot fucking garbage. The "full" version was barely longer than the Comiket demo we got months ago. The art was OK, but the plot, the scenarios, and pretty much everything else was as by-the-numbers as it could be. The only semi-original element were the QTEs, which were taken straight from the studio's previous game, Akakubi Arena. Great game, that one. This one? Fuck no.

Akakubi Arena is translated and easily available from /hgg2d/'s ghostbin. It's also a fun game. In-town scenes, H combat, some minigames, it's just good all around. I wouldn't recommend this newest game of theirs unless you really enjoy ryona and/or RPGMaker "sneaking" mechanics.

I recommend playing The Crooked Man, The Sand Man and the Boogeyman. They all take place in the same universe and they're all really fun. It's awesome seeing the characters throughout the games interact with each other.

I played Zombie Island recently since it was translated.
Surprisingly fun survival game. Disappointed the h-scenes weren't translated though, especially since said scenes never had much text to begin with. Since said scenes didn't have much text to begin with though it wasn't that big of a deal.

I actually hated this. Don't get me wrong, sometimes this works but here I feel like it was just for the shock value. In a rpgmaker game like Yume Nikki or OFF I like that they don't try to bullshit you and let you know exactly the tone the game is making. In OFF the story is meaningful, what you learn feels genuinely meaningful to the plot and characters. In Wadanohara the shit tone change and the shit with Sal feel needlessly dark and don't really contribute much other then "okay, guess the game is different now".
