On the other hand of this shitpost of an argument, i think the main reason Bots are not implemented in Splatoon is because the game is too complex in the mechanics and strategy.
Compare it to TF2, for instance, a far more basic game with no need to paint the floor, and strictly defined goal of "cap the point". The bots, for their time, were revolutionary, able to react to the enemies, deliberatly miss shots and everything nice. Yet, when compared to humans, they just lack common sence, sometimes. The bot's mind is simple and is just that, a bot. A predictable, simple pattern of reacting to the enviroment.
