I passionately hate cinematic platformers all because of Abe's Odyssey and Heart of Darkness. Your character's movement options are severely gimped but in spite of this the game requires you to have 10 times the reflexes of a more reasonable game like Megaman or Castlevania.

I think the Persona games (or at least the ones I've played, which is 3 through 5), are the definition of awful pacing.

The story segments are extremely long, use the same environments over and over again and often involve overly long animations for how much you see them. Meanwhile the major gameplay segments often just completely abruptly bring the story to a halt for several hours/

It's jarring and makes the game very difficult to maintain interest in if you stop playing for a few days.

I think they're solid games otherwise, but the day-to-day format is utterly awful, or at least the way the games handle it is.

Just because you play something a lot doesn't mean you like it a lot. It just might mean that it's the only thing that delivers something you want.

Skyrim with mods is the only game that delivers a comfy survival hiking game for me, I've got several hundred hours in it, but I could write you a list of flaws the game has longer than my arm and I do not consider it a good game.

I have a couple thousand hours in the Total War games, but mostly in Rome and M2. They had good mods and I cheated most of my campaigns, and the inability to use command script has really soured me on the franchise.

Sonic R is the best 3D sonic game.
Adventure is not only the worst 3d game, but the worst in the series. 06 was an improvement.

Outside of Sonic R all 3d sonic games have momentum killing bugs that just stop you dead in your tracks if you bonk into the world and whatever character your playing is feels like a feather attached to a rocket instead of a character with weight

I fucking love pretentious 2deep4u indie shit art games and think SJW pandering is ultimately good for the industry. Also I thought Dragon's Dogma and New Vegas were both unplayable shit.

Did /v/ seriously stop liking Jojo because the anime get semi-popular in the west? It was pretty much universally beloved here until the recent "ironic shitposting" around it, and the only thing I can attribute that to is the anime.

Weapons felt limited compared to other Souls games, this was also the start of "let's give every boss a second or third stage" and it lost its charm fast, arcane wasn't very fleshed out but it luckily was still the most interesting way to play. I already said chalice dungeons were boring, and the fact that you couldn't invade unless the host had one or more partners/only solo invade in the nightmare locations make PvP shit
And like I've also said the actual reason why I played three playthroughs was because I'm autistic about 100% the souls games

MGS1 isn't all that good.
It has some really awful pacing that makes playing the game a chore more than anything. Either you are go from one small room to another and watch a cutscene every 3-5 minutes of play time, or you are backtracking. And the mechanics are a tad too simple to really make it worth the bad gameplay to cutscene ratio.
