meaning the game has shitty garbage content for seasons and its all abandoned because they built better content ontop of it.

its a big ghost town up until you reach the peak of the newest content. That mean completely ignoring huge chunks of story and content all so you can find people doing some of the only little relevant content available.

it is a horrible design and FFXIV also follows this shitty design.

It kills itself and destroys its playerbase overtime by making it very unwelcoming to new players and destroying its own content.

You are wrong on both counts.

The character customization is not deep at all, you can't modify the faces of any of the characters at all(unless you count things like beards and makeup), when it comes to the body you only have like 10 sliders, things like arm thickness, shoulder width stuff like that. It's fine, but it's not like like what you see in most asian mmos.

As for the rest, the gameplay in Vindictus is unlike that of any other MMO anywhere, it is a true action game, not an "action game". That is the one and only reason the game was popular, because everything else is god awful so don't take this as a recommendation, but the combat itself especially when fighting raid bosses was actually really good.

But the reason it's dead is because all the other garbage in the game was never improved(only barely at one point) and a recent update made everything far far worse.
