If i can recall correctly it's better to give him somewhat decent sums all the time than to give him a single huge reward.

I recall always giving him 1001g, which made him perform Wakizashi and Zanmato almost exclusively, as well as doing free instaZanmatos or counterZanmatos.

Even dodging 200 lightning bolts wasn't this fucking stupid a way to 'reward' an ultimate weapon.

Just finished this game for the first time last week. First FF game, managed to get every ultimate weapon.

I didn't look much up online except for the ultimate so, but if you give Flare and Doublecast to Yuna and your aeons you pretty much win the game.

Remasters in general, to me, look shitty.

I don't even know what it is. But games like FF7, FF8, FF10 and so on - all of them look better to me in the original. Maybe the blurryness back then actually helped smoothin things out and hide bad textures and other stuff.

But the result is that I unironically think the original doesn't look as bad

Pretty sure the destruction sphere is optional. Most people likely use it since, if memory serves, it only lights up once the path to the inner temple is opened and most players will experiment with it before proceeding.
