I think the fanbase is pretty split on the Osaka team, but warmed up to them after 0.2 and are optimistic now. They overwhelmingly like BBS though, I see many KHfags saying it's their favorite. /v/ is till heavily against Osaka, which I understand, because BBS is shit.

I found some retard who bought the KH collection on PS4.

He reviewed the whole thing and went something like:
"Now Kingdom Hearts 2 is easilly the weakest part in the series. The story ia weak but most importantly the combat is bad. Nothing has weight and is floaty and evrything feels like a gimick. BBS, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. It has tight responsive controls, amazing story, and the best combat in the series. It geta rid of that boring command menu and lets you have 100's of different attacks. Though I did not beat KH2, I can safely say BBS is the best in the series."

God I wish I could find this vid so I can dislike it again.

I started playing KH1, made it about ten hours in and got to the pirate boat before saying fuck it.
I found the whole thing interesting but the gameplay hasn't aged remotely well, it's clear they designed it without a real concept in mind. The game has no idea what it wants to be, there's some bad action elements slapped on with some bad RPG elements and downright awful platforming elements. It's a shame because I was enjoying the game aside from the part where it was a game.

I switched to BBS instead and it's an improvement, I don't know how much but it's and improvement.
I started playing as Terra which I think might have been a mistake, honestly I think the whole game should have been Aqua since that's the only person I care about and I imagine others feel the same way.

KH is fundamentally broken once you get Once More and Second Chance so nothing else matters. Seriously, the early game is so fun, but all of the challange and tension is gone when you literally can't die.
