What fucking emulator are you using?
SNES9x can run on fucking anything.

Literally kill yourself.
>decide to watch a movie from 1923
>I'm watching it in under a minute
>decide to play a PC game from 2003
>six hours and a dozen additional downloads later...
The power of PC is simply astounding.
>>385773924
Are you using higan? You need a good PC to use that but snes9x will work fine instead and it's not much different. Either that or something is wrong with your PC and you need to fix it.

Is this a shill thread designed to subtly dissuade newfags from using emulators, are am I just done with /v/ after all these years?

I have no idea. It's like the background isn't scrolling properly.
>>385778814
What emulator are you using?
>>385779639
Happens in both SNES9X and Retroarch bsnes balanced core.
>>385773924
I was emulating SNES games with no problems in the fucking late 90's. There must be something wrong with your PC.
My fucking shitty-ass laptop can run a SNES emulator 10 times and still have no issues. What the fuck kind of dishwasher you running emulators on?
>>385780606
>Happens in SNES9X
What are your specs? Because SNES9X should run on anything and by anything I mean anything that has a modern CPU (requirements are a 200mhz Pentium processor) and 32MB of RAM.
I think there is something wrong with your PC if this is happening and this isn't a "it runs fine for me" post, the required specs for SNES9X are from 20 years ago.

The games are running at full speed, you fucking spastics. It's just the backgrounds aren't scrolling properly, which is causing them to stutter. Any solution would be greatly appreciated.
>>385780985
With that shitty description it could be literally anything but I'm gonna go with either a refresh rate mismatch or frameskipping
>>385780985
Oh.
That's probably the emulator or a pebkac error.
>>385781165
Fix how?
>>385780985
Why not mention this in the OP? You literally just bitched about stuttering, gave no indication of what exactly the problem is and didn't even ask for help.
>>385781267
I was just shitposting and didn't expect anyone to actually be able to help.
