is this game worth $10? I know it's mostly a single player

bought it full price when it came out. played more single then multi and it was still worth it.

It's an id software game retard. It's legit a great singleplayer experience. It's very arcade-y and doesn't take itself too serious.

10 dollars sure, if you know what youre getting into and want to get into it

it snot a doom game, its a kill room simualator with next gen unlockables/skill trees tacked on after the fact

the initial intro dies down pretty quickly, and you come to realization that youve got like hours more of the same boring generic kill room encounters

Really good campaign, worth $10 just for that

As for the multiplayer, I still play it regularly. It doesn't have CSGO numbers but its fairly lively, I never have any difficulties finding matches especially now that all the DLC is free

Yes it's pretty fun. MP is more like old DOOM than it is Quake, but still also pretty fun

I really like that about the MP. quake is more about vertical movement. DOOM manages to do it's own thing by keeping it fast paced and horizontal. the vaulting keeps things moving quickly as you move from level to level.

I'm honestly having more fun with doom than quake champions.

pc is alive right now in north america. just stay within the big mixed playlist and you're good to go. there's also some free for all modes but i dont know if people play them. they're pretty lame

Bought it for $15 dollarydoos recently and it was definitely worth it. The online is surprisingly active. I drop in from time to time to fuck around for an hour or two and I find matches pretty quick doing Team Play quick matches.

Was definitely a better game than I anticipated. /v/ hyped it up to be shit but I found it to be pretty decent. Arcade mode is fun.
