It's pretty fun. Building is quick and easy and you can get creative with it. Early game is slow but it eventually ramps up to panickedly clearing hordes of monsters that are trying to tear down walls.

It's not for everyone but it's fun if that's your thing.

I played from early alpha until recently.

It is ok, at best. The trap durability is lame, there is basically 0 skill anywhere involved, and every game is the same exact thing, you bashing the same objects for the 500th time to build the same defense you build every mission to fight the same waves you fought.

It isn't a terrible game. But it is definitely a F2P game with the mechanics to match. Expect frustration in the slow progression. And the progression gets dragged out so long that you end up bored of the mechanics

Problem with the V-Bucks system is you will eventually run out of ways to get them outside from the Dailys. Stuff like "Hold the Door" that give you 50 V-Bucks will stop at 10 and will no longer be available to you.

Yes to both. At the end of a match you get a chest which varies depending on how well you did in it. Doing better/more optional stuff/having more players rewards you with better loot.

Theres also micro transactions which get you blueprints, survivors and heroes as well as misc other stuff.

I'd say the creativity is kinda limited however, mostly cause of how a lot of challenges are time sensitive and enemies tend to like to go the shortest path possible, even if it means breaking stuff down.

The only limit is an optional one to get you more Chest xp at the end. Otherwise, there is no actual hard cap outside of how much materials you can farm up. Building takes like 10 resource of any material, and each upgrade is 10 more over the previous. So first upgrade is 20, then 30, and so on.

I think there is a time issue where you get pulled out automatically after X days and some missions are timed in general, but overall I don't think theres a build limit.
