Sometimes I think N64-fags have never actually played the console and are sonybros falseflagging.

PS1 graphics have generally aged like fucking trash.

They were higher fidelity back during the day but N64 games clean look has aged so much fucking better.

Most PS1 games look awful due to the texture warping, no AA and overuse of darker or more "realistic" palates. N64's bright colors and post-processing AA mean the games hold up a lot better, anyone can jump in an play Mario Kart 64 or SM64 or Zelda but the PS1 just looks ugly, and the loading times make it a chore to play in modern times.

N64 games aged like shit thanks to the shitty framerates and blurry image quality.

PS1 3D graphics also aged like shit (less than N64, though) because of texture warping, texture seaming and full-screen dither, but at least that console has plenty of 2D games.

It's unbelievable how badly 5th gen has aged.
SNES and Genesis games are timeless and as good to play and to look at 2 decades ago, while I have to force myself to enjoy PS1 games I loved back in the day.
