Just started today, should I continue to roll on the current banner? I've done one multi roll and got some good(?) SSRs

I am new to the game and keep reading about mono type builds. The only type i have more than 1 good character of is TEQ. I've got 4 TEQ characters that are decent and 2 that are garbage. From what i have heard it is recommended that I use a mono type deck even though two of my cards are useless (Cell Jr and Jeice). Neither of them seem to have any link skills that work with my other characters. After experimenting with a mono type and then with Cell Jr replaced by a STR pikkon and Jeice replaced with PHY red goku it seems the rainbow team is more effective than the mono type team. Is this just because Cell Jr and Jeice are particularly bad characters? I can see why a mono type deck would be better than my current rainbow deck if i had more link skills, but if i am filling out the last 2 spots on my deck and the only characters i have available within the mono type have no link skills with the rest of the team then what is the advantage to using them over other characters of different types?

I believe most mono types revolve around a strong leader. Strong leaders usually give broken stat boosts to those of similar types. If you don't have a strong leader, just go with a team that has links.

I am currently using an SSR Hell conquering ambition Frieza (unawakened) as my leader. Currently gives TEQ types +2 ki and +30% atk/def. This leader ability will get even better if i were to awaken him right? That sounds pretty broken to me. Or are there even better leader abilities i should be watching out for and not waste any time/awakening medals on this Frieza?

Is there any way to get these special summoning tickets as a new player? I'd kill for black or rose

I'm not sure if this is true anymore (or if it was true at all), but it used to be that new players would get a guaranteed SSR from a banner. Since SSJ4 Gogeta is coming out on Friday, and his banner might contain some of the really good hero cards like Vegito and Gogeta, it would be worth trying it out to see if you can get a proper leader for your team. That way, even if you don't get Gogeta, you'll still end up getting some really good cards to start a team with. And also because of the stones, yes.

OK, so if Mr Satan is sucked into that meteor that Goku fires the kamehameha at during a summoning, is that a good indication or bad for a draw?

Friend banner is always the same. It's good for Hercule statues, the SR TEQ Hercule and the AGL Androids. The rest is just training fodder.

How do banners/events work? They seemed like they would be too hard for me when i looked them over on my first day playing. I didn't actually try any of them yet. Now that i have been playing a bit and i have a team of max level SSRs am i strong enough to start attempting these? Do they play out like a story mission where you move to the end of the board and fight a boss?

They do play out like that, but the bosses on the higher difficulties have hugely inflated stats, multiple life bars and several of them have gimmicks that require certain passive skills to beat. They're pretty hard unless you have some of the top-tier SSR leads and a team built around them.

The Dokkan events drop the medals you need to awaken the cards you get off the banner, but some of them also give you freebie cards as drops on the first stage. Shadow Dragons of Despair can give you an SSR Eis Shenron, for example.

Which are you asking specifically? Events?

Consider them the boss battles of Dokkan. They usually come in Z-Hard and Super or some wording to that effect with the hardest difficulty netting you 7 medals of that boss type. The z-hard usually nets you 1 to 3 depending on the event.

Typically there is a passive. or a link skill that will negate the gimmick to the fight. For example The Wall Standing Tall negates Gohan's defense and offense for the Ultimate Awakening Event.

With the current state of the game, Mono Agi, or Mono Str is more than enough to power through the events. I used my pre Dokkan SSJ4 Vegeta and my mono team to power through the SSJ4 Goku event, and then the same team for the SSJ4 Vegeta event.

The only event that you just can't power through with a mono team is the Ultimate Gohan event. If he can chain supers you are in trouble since, just like the INT card, each time he uses it, it hits harder.

Does any of this make sense?

Oh and typically you're looking for UR/TUR cards to take into the events.,

Has anyone been farming Gogeta/Shenron medals incase the new cards this weekend use the same medals? I'd assume they are since all that is happening is a new stage being added to Shadow Dragons of Despair and Indomitable Fusion

Story missions when they are x3 or x4 exp. If you have completed all 21 areas then run 21-3 on Super. It's pretty insane. I grinded from 114 to 210 using just that mission during the SSJ4 2nd anniversary event

Its a little frustrating that you cannot select hard without completing normal first on story missions. What is your overall rank right now? Usually the low 100's, depending on your cards, is when you will start to be able to handle some of the events like Cell's Games, or Kid Buu event on Z-hard.

SS Vegito Lead, Golden Frieza, Teen Gohan, SSB Goku, Xeno Trunks Vegeta.

Teq Team: Bulma lead, Vegito, SSB Goku, Turles (Believe he is the best one of the Turles) , Arale and the chick from Xeno. Double check your teq cards leader skills. Typically you want Ki + and HP, ATK DEF+ %

INT Ultimate Gohan lead (No debate he is second best INT leader right now behind Buuhan), Super Janemba, Baby, Hit, Whis, and Arale or Vegito

Str Team: Omega Shenron Lead, Bardock that looks like, SS Goku, SSJ3 Vegeta, Gotenks, Beerus (as much as he is useless) , SSB Goku

Phy Team:
That is the hardest to say. No clear cut leader out of your PHY cards.

Super Rainbow Team:
SSB Vegito Lead, SS Vegito, Ultimate Gohan, SSB Goku, Phy Gotenks, SSJ3 Vegeta.

Double check link skills on all these teams as link skills are more crucial than "your most powerful cards"

So far i have done 4 multi summons (did all 3 that cost 30 stones, then a fourth that cost 50). Depends on what units they are. If they are worthless SRs that can't be used to raise a better card's super attack and don't have a dokkan form then baba shop.

If you save your account by linking it to Facebook or by just making a transfer code then it doesn't really matter when you reroll since you essentially get to keep both accounts. It'll definitely be worth rerolling for the Gogeta banner imo.

They really need to let you obtain hidden potential orbs a lot more often. Or give you a lot more than they do once a week. As it stands it's ridiculous.

And? Teq needs love right now. Yes they have one of the better leaders in SSJ3 Gotenks, and LR Goku (which let's be honest not a lot of people care about), overall teq mono is hurting. The leader skill for Gogeta will make or break the card. Especially since this delayed Teq SSJ3 Angel Goku and Phy Cooler. Cooler can't come fast enough my Phy Full powered Frieza is just waiting to pizza the fuck out of people.

Well to be fair it was the SSJ4s. They've been anticipated since they hit JP last year. I think the hype is there for this banner. Hopefully the future stuff like INT Gogeta/Str Janemba and Super 17 got back to pre SSJ4 release style. Aka not laggy and servers are overwhelmed.
