Dante. Quicksilver to dispatch the slow ass niggas. Can always use royalguard or juggernaught form to protect me. Best swordsman there, so I don't need to worry about any of the fuckboys. Mastersword wouldn't work on him because he ain't evil. Out of any of them he has the best defensive measures to actually protect someone. Cloud couldn't even protect Aeris. It's a similar concept to expansion packs. It's not an unusual practice at all. Recently due to my anticipation for Wolfenstein: The New Colossus I've been replaying Wolfenstein: The New Order and the standalone expansion The Old Blood which was released exactly a year later, although it was only about 2/3 as long as the original game it still supports what I'm trying to say. It was a form of sequel which used the same systems and assets as the original game so all they had to work on was story content and crafting new levels. The workload was much smaller and thus needed less time. Imagine the second FF7R game being made using the same method but obviously being equal in size to the first game.
