The writing in mgs2 is trash.
It's the same kind of people who think bioshock infinite was deep.

2 set the set up the rest of the series as a mess for it's convoluted writing. I honestly wish that we could just knock MGS2, 4, TPP out and rewrite those sections of the saga to something comprehensible.
