you fucking idiot, are you putting your monitor on top of the damn Xbone?
have you learned nothing form the ps2?
you're not supposed to put ANYTHING on top of the console

I agree they're awesome. I had a larger one before I moved but it looks like we have the same size ones now. Never had a problem with mine

Yes, I had one catch on fire and then it started leaking acid as ethereal voices summoned satan.

What the fuck do you expect to happen?
It's not chink shit. It won't stain your hands black.
>>
I bought a brand new 7 g keyboard and a steelseries rival and suburbia headphones all of which broke within a year

Yeah, I have one too. It's great. Not as good as the Steelseries SX, but that one is overkill honestly. I'd still get that if I wasn't a poorfag.
>>
>>385689108
I use a 15 year old keyboard that I bought at tesco for 10 quid. It may once have had a brand, but the logo has worn of and I have since forgotten. I use a mouse I took home from work, one of those "comes with every basic office desktop" kind of thing. My mousepad is my entire desk.

Why you people obsess over this stuff is beyond me, it is like you pride yourselves in being jewed out of money. Unless you are an aspiring precision gaming pro (csgo SC etc.) then other than comfort nothing is needed. Idiots wasting 100+ on a mouse.
>>
>>385690975
Some people like having more than two mouse buttons, it is very comfortable when playing videogames.
>>
>>385690975
ive got a 30$ mouse and keyboard combo coming in the mail and the pad was 9.99 im not being jewed out tobad

no black stains, i have the same pad since 2014.

Wash it when you start to feel the move isn't smooth as always. I wash mine two or three times a year.
>>
>>385690721
Since we stopped using trackball mice they don't. Unless your desk is made from course granite modern mice will perform just fine on it. At most the difference in friction will change the handling, but that boils down to preference.

I use the extra large turbo autismo limited edition because I had a Jewpon. In addition to being a mousepad you can wrap it around a small animal to make it undetectable by radar.

I know this is a mousepad thread, but the M3 on my mouse is just about dead and I'm in the market for a replacement. Was looking at picking up one of the smaller Zowies but wondering if anyone had an opinion on the different models and sizes or just a recommendation for a mouse in general.

I claw grip, if that matters, and I really only need a couple of thumb buttons.
>>
>>385693018
Nice non argument.
Defend the fact that you paid twice as much for an inferior mouse, cuck.
>>
>>385692910
How exactly will it make your "play" worse if it is more precise than your monitor? Do you not understand bottlenecking? You're also using "floaty" entirely wrong, for whatever you're trying to say. There's no difference whatsoever in input lag. Optical mice are superior, it's quantifiable, but it does not matter. It's like getting a 1080Ti to play on a 480p 60Hz monitor.

>>385689930

>play worse
Most of us don't play games in which pixel precision matters. Then from the minority of people who DO play games in which pixel precision matters the majority doesn't actually care about it that much since they aren't aspiring progamers. Unless you are playing quake, Starcraft or csgo professionally, the level of accuracy you are going on about is simply not needed. At the very fucking most you would need it to satisfy some autistic need to be the most precise.

It's not like you're having to pay extra for optical. They're literally cheaper than laser. There is no reason beyond being an absolute fucking moron to advise someone to buy a laser mouse.
>>
>>385693310
It's nonexistant unless you're using it on smoked glass or some other surface the laser can partially penetrate.
>>
>>385690975
Its advertisers infiltrating /v/ it has to be no bad is too stupid to buy stuff just coz its gaming, right?

>>

Or cloth.
>>
>>385693143
ZA13 has been perfect for me, though I prefer ambidextrous mice because autism. Since you're claw gripping it doesn't matter as much if your hands are longer than the mouse.
>>
>>385689108
qck is shit, edges fray and the cloth starts to come off after less then a year, also extremely overpriced. get literally any stitched chinkpad from amazon, cheaper and no obnoxious logos
>>
>>385693787

>I prefer ambidextrous mice because autism

Honestly, I've only had two mice for most of my adult life and they've both been ambidextrous. I've gotten really used to using my ring finger to trigger low importance toggles (e.g. autorun).

The ZA13 is listed as their small ambidextrous mouse, so that's pretty much what I was looking at already. Think I'll pull the trigger. Thanks, anon.
>>
>>385693758
You seriously think the differences in fiber depth matter to a modern mouse? With the resolutions modern CMOS sensors use it's quite easy to calculate over tiny dips and dots.
Smoked glass is only a problem because you have huge patches of the material the laser can illuminate being at different levels.

Assume I have no idea what the fuck any of the techspeak ITT means.
>>
>>385694035
one note though, you can't enable all four side buttons at the same time, just the left two by default. Only real complaint I have with it.
>>
>>385694394
Do you need pixel precision?
No? Then it doesn't fucking matter and you go for whatever is cheapest/most comfortable.
>>
>>385694720
>Do you need pixel precision?
I don't know. I doubt it. Evem far away heads are like, 50 pixels or so? Maybe?
>>
They're cheap, well sized and comfortable just don't cum on it and shit cause it'll soak
>>
>>385694825
>>385694825
What games do you wish to play and at what level?
My guess is your most "precision demanding" game is going to be BF4 or so and you will be playing it at a level that is barely a step up from "filthy casual", much like the rest of us. In which case it doesn't fucking matter.

BF4 was fun. You're a cockmongler.
>>
>>385695004
Last """precision""" game I played was TF2. I was scout though so my targets took up 60% of the screen most of the time. I did play """""competetively""""" but TF2 comp was always a joke. I like the look of Destiny 2, I guess. I basically don't want to just buy a bad mouse and get screwed later.
>>
>>385692721
I have one, it's pretty nice. I have my entire keyboard (Corsair K95) on it and there's still plenty of mouse room to spare on my desk. My wrists don't hurt after resting them on it for several hours.
>>
>>385690721
As I understand they do for laser mice but not the optical ones.
>>
>>385695342
Where do I say it isn't fun? The fuck buddy? Stop getting your knickers in a twist.

no.

Mouse pads are for faggots.
>>
>>385695442

You're a faggot, and you know you are.
>>
>>385690975
I replaced a microsoft mouse after years of use because the cursor started teleporting at random places.
The one I got is good and sturdy but in fps it lacks precision. Number of buttons is not the only characteristic one should be looking for.
>>
>>385695392
>resting your wrists
Don't do this, it makes mustard gas in the carpal tunnels.
