The Roer segment is always the most boring part of both games. I forget what exactly happens after that in CS2 but I did enjoy the final leg of CS2's Act 2.

Its a total slog if you rush it but I always enjoyed coming back to it. Finale was great, but from what I've heard CS2 goes right back into more boredom. I hope its just a meme, I'm 3 hours in and I'm enjoying it so far.

That sounds bad. Is it going to be another TitS SC that starts out promisingly enough, then proceeds to waste even more time with a completely unnecessary "Villain of the Week" narrative? I've still enjoyed it overall but it felt like a total waste of time after the immense set-up that FC provided.

Blame Falcom for having to split it into two games. It seems likely to me that the padding in SC was a consequence of this.

Nothing as formulaic and time-consuming but they try to address other characters' and their family arcs with Elliot and Jusis so everyone gets at least one relevant mini-arc to themselves.
