No, and here's why.
You'll be amazed at how "immersive" VR is at first, most likely. Even the little intro/demo with the robot is pretty amazing to experience for the first time. A few free games/"experiences" will probably impress you as well.
Then you'll end up playing something like Robo Recall or Superhot and find it fucking awesome, which it is at first. The sense of scale and natural feel of the controls are something else entirely.
Maybe you'll play a driving game or Elite Dangerous, which are really good ways to showcase VR because you don't have to deal with the motion issues.
But three days later the fresh feel of VR will have worn off, you'll start to notice the annoyances and downsides more, and realize that while it looks fun for a short while, VR doesn't add anything to games once you're used to it.
In the end, you'll rarely use it unless you're really into a specific niche game, or once in a while to fap with Honey Select VR.
And while Honey Select in VR is easily the best porn I've ever experienced, it's not worth that much money.

No.
Grab one of those few dozen buck Amazon cardboard VR things, and use their software to mimic Oculus. Vola - 90+% of all VR shit instantly playable on PC.

Nay, cast ye ideations not amongst wares of hard affectations, rather, place them amidst the empyreal realms of softened wares and delights. For thy material wealth aught to bring great comfort and respite to thine side. Thou deserved as much.

Thank Facebook for killing VR before it officially started.
