Rolling away is the last thing you should do. Just staying close and strafing around is usually best. Once you get a feel for it she can't touch you.

Yes, and better use fast weapons so you can attack faster inbetween rolls. Of course you could also pick a greatweapon which will overall reach the same DPS as a shortsword for 4 times the effort.

You do the boring thing that works in most fights, which is standing a decent distance away and backpedalling/strafing until they open themselves up. If you get hit by her wombo combo you're standing too close.

Dancer wasn't hard for me, but goddamn fucking Pontiff was impossible my first play through. I just kept getting sloppy especially when I got him to second phase. Probably took me at least 20 tries.
