Wobbling is the only thing that makes ICs matchups interesting to watch. The tension of knowing any time they get a grab they take a stock is pretty hype. I have no idea why people hate it so much.

Really sucks that m2k and mang0 bailed on this tourney. This is prob my favorite series just by venue and crowd alone. Canada has some insanely hype young players along with the most exciting sheik, falcon, marth, and Ganon respectively. The turnout should rebound next year tho.

Ok so if you go to hyrule temple and get people to 999. You can train your self with fast hits and light hits and see how the characters will move at the highest speed. If you can manage people at 999 at their highest speed. 200 percent is fine.

You can practice l cancelling on the legend of zelda level majoras mask in the little part of the level right near the middle pit. You can also wavedash grab ledge or practice hitting people over a pit

you can go to the super mario level and the fucking blocks have 3 properties.
if you run back and forth and block and shield and someone hit you under the block you drop down a free instant shield drop.
Then if you launch people in the air
the blocks act like the little flying things in the air in yoshis the SAME DI.
Then when you hit people on the block you can react to them rolling and shit perfectly and time everything perfect. It makes you good at shielding and reading rolls and dashes and wavedashes and reacting at the quickest time you can.

In the metroid level you can hit a bitch off the level and shoot them down and they will come up again and you can do combos.
you can m2k the bitch down like 6 times sometimes perfectly and the dude will come up sure but it will come up in slightly different variances so you can react to them.

I am not done.
In mute city I use the platform as a way to get recoveries from all degrees.
I avoid the cars with my shield and make sure every car hits my shield.
The dudes getting hit from the ground level come up they usually roll so you can pretend like your a pro and grab them instantly.

In bigblue I try to focus on 2 things
One punishing people in different way with aerials. I try to combo them in the air. It is the perfect air level. If you can move on that level then the normal levels are perfect.

I also practice long distance punishing
Pushing my character to the absolute limit to where it can attack and think of new faster ways to do that.

I go to the ness level and pretend it is half of the pit in pokemon stadium and i will reign myself to the wall and see how long i can survive I usually survive really well down there.

I use the little platform in hyrule again as there are 2 holes and it lets you practice doing flying shit

The way to the pit in between the top you can practice perfect 1 jump l cancels
Then in the pit double jump l cancels
you can glide your head off the top of hyrule temple and change your direction so you can deal with that in a new way.

I also use the same long distance technique with the floating boat level and the ice climbers level.
Ice climber level is good for shield dropping and following up people.

I go to super mario brothers level 2 because two pits and I pretend that the level is a real level and it is a real platform and combo and grab people to death on there.
Also in the super mario brothers 2 level you throw a bitch down they go left or right right or tech in place or attack. Well if you throw a dude down the farthest he will go is to the side and it gives you total range of the roll distance.

I also play the game at 2x the speed 3vs1 I test everything that other players do not test out.

Even if PP was to seriously come back and attend tournaments regularly, there's no guarantee he'd be good. Leffen was banned for slightly less than a year, and he went from serious contender for best in the world to repeatedly losing to ethnicmarth8000.

PP wasn't as good comparatively when he stopped playing, and has been got for a lot longer. He looked like shit at BMR2. He had a weaker mentality than Leffen, and has been gone for 2.5 years. He'd most likely get his shit kicked in by players like Plup/Druggedfox and never make it back to god level.

PP made a little bit of a return a few weeks ago. It was actually pretty hype.
