The story feels really fresh because you're just a really skilled, normal human who has to survive working for the Sith. You've played a bounty hunter before, you've played a trooper before, a Jedi before, in some ways you've played a Sith before. Agent is a new way of exploring the SW setting, and I wish there was more of it.

I remember playing through with a friend like a year ago, he went Sith Warrior and I went Imperial Agent and we alternated story beats.
He went full Bad Guy to absolutely hilarious effect while I tried to keep it gray.
In terms of pure fun I actually found myself more interested in the Sith plotline vs the Agent, after the first act it just fell apart for me. I can't even remember it, something about I was a republic double agent due to mind washing or something.
The one highlight was cool bug man but the rest of the followers were terrible.

In order:

Imperial Agent is universally the best-written and highest-rated storyline. Lots of twists, turns, and surprises that make it really engaging. You're never really doing "busy work" for class stories like a lot of other classes.

Warrior is probably my personal favorite, and also well-written, well-voiced, and provides companions who are more than cut-out tropes with 2D backstories. It's my personal choice for expansion content as well.

Knight is essentially a KOTOR 3 story. It's a little weird in the beginning since you're doing more Republic Army-related stuff, but it starts getting good in the second half, and is extremely tied to the narrative of what is happening pre-Fallen Empire.

Consular and Inquisitor are love-hate; they both exemplify what it means to be a full-on Jedi or a full-on Sith, but they're more targeted towards diplomacy, investigation, and research than all-out combat like the Warrior/Knight counterpart. So if you really like the orders, and the non-combat sides of them they can be pretty good. Otherwise, they suck.

Smuggler and Bounty Hunter have their charms, but you really have to want to like them to play them. For the most part they're not huge players in the overall story until you get to the end, when they can suddenly become major players. Trooper is only interesting if you like the "Sir, Yes Sir" mentality. The Dark Side Trooper choices make no sense, and are so absurd (such as executing a public official in the middle of a meeting, with zero repercussions or reactions) that it breaks the suspension of disbelief.

In Hutt Cartel you have 2 quests, Republic or Empire. In Shadow of Revan it's the same main quest for everyone, but there's a small sidequest unique to every class. KOTFE and KOTET are the same no matter the class, you're no longer a Warrior, or a Smuggler, but the "Outlander"

RO had good moments, with a lot of other moments getting fucked up due to what were likely outside ideas being forced in (Hammerhead ramming the Star Destroyer, Jyn 'Stronk Woman' Erso's complete heel turn, 90% of Jedda, Leia cameo), while you can see a bunch of decent hinting at things that were just fucked by the movie (Rebels not being flawless beacons of goodness, the politics in the Imperial Military, Vader being the sole mobile force user and, as such, terrifying to Rebels and Imperials).

It's been a few years but I remember you're trying to overthrow a Sith Lord because you got betrayed yourself. The way you get strong enough to do is you get the ability to "Force Walk" which absorbs Force Ghosts into your very being. Because when you think of absorbing or consuming the verb "Walk" comes to mind.

You hop a few planets, nom a few ghosts and defeat the Sith Lord. But then you start spazzing out and collapsing because all those ghosts you absorbed are now fighting inside of you or something. I remember running off to find a shaman to do some dream warrior shit and looking for a machine from an ancient society that could fix my ghost indigestion.
