I greatly prefer the single-player campaign, but with SnapMap, you can make very small and intimate multiplayer map. I made one with just Shotguns and Super Shotguns, basically just a tiny little square arena. Just need to figure out how to script the score settings, and then I can upload it for other people to download.

The speed of multiplayer really depends on how closely confined the players are in the map.
