my parrot loves hanging out on his perch in my room watching and listening to me play video games and watch tv / listen to music.

Housemates hate him because as a parrot he DOES make noise, and MESS (long distance calling is REALLY loud. and they poop and drop food waste all over because that's what part of the biodiversity sphere they're evolved to fill)

my bird LOVES these red berries from a tree, he mashes up the outer berry to get at the nuts inside, but because he can only really hold and eat ONE of the nuts in the berry at a time, up to THREE other nuts fall off with the mushed berry.

he however LOVES to sit on shoulders and cuddle the other housemates when they're sitting down watching tv, he leans right into their cheeks with his face and sides and 'hugs' them.

Jrpg style and at the beginning a town gets attacked by skellingtons that come out of the ground during some sort of ceremony or something.
Weirdly, you get a jeep type vehicle to travel in so it's not 100% medieval.
