Console UI will never top the simplicity of the XMB. Why

XMB looks great but is a chore to use. The new UI is much more functional.

How is it a chore? It is easily the clearly labeled and intuitive UI on any console. Compared to the mess that is Xbone and 360, it's near perfect.

XMB is literally the only thing good that came out of the PSX.
I always preferred the look of the Wii menu and by extension the WiiU/3DS.

I think it's a bit overwhelming at first but it easy enough to navigate to find what you need rather than menu jumping for something simple and after initial setup you aren't really using half the drop menus on there anyway

PS3/PSP ui was great
