Currently playing it, it's pretty mediocre.

The artstyle and ambience of a pikmin game is all there, but that's it.
It also does a thing I absolutely hate about those platformer/collect-items and that's passageways where you can't go back so you're forced to restart a level several times until you know exactly where to go to get every item.
