I just played Super Cloudbuilt.
Game is ass.
Like sure, the speed is fun, the artstyle is nice aside from MC having a bad case of the uglies, and there are some cool things you can do with the mechanics, but the game is ass.
There is so much unfun shit just built into this game. The stupid fucking cooldowns on the gun, the jetpack being limited to a cooldown system as well, spikes on the top of walls preventing you from doing what you please, slowing shit down with completely retarded enemy and trap placement half of the time they show up, the fact that you have to press the jetpack button multiple times in order to keep it going if you touch the ground while dashing through the air. The retarded puzzle segments like those long pathways with the repetitive electric arcs. Fucking FALL DAMAGE in a game about going fast and running on walls and shit. Man fuck this game. I just uninstalled it. What little good it has isn't worth the other shit. Also the main character won't shut her fucking mouth, luckily you have the option to turn that shit off.

I like them more than male main characters. Male MCs in both Japan and the west are prone to being extremely generic and cookie cutter while female MCs tend to be a bit more interesting (partially due to a correlation with the devs being experimental enough to use a female MC in the first place, considering how much big publishers prefer to avoid them).

It's not enough to make me call a game great on its own, but it does add to my enjoyment and a lot of my favourite games have a female MC that does contribute towards why I like the game.

Gravity Rush is one of my favourite series ever because of the mechanics and setting. Getting a cute tanned blonde female main character who gets cute outfits on top of that too? Fuck yes.
