I have been doing this for more than 5 years now. I only support indies and have never bought an AAA game since then. Now I have more games to play but spending less. Cheap shit like humblebundle works wonders too.

Actually here's a problem that needs to be considered.

Game concepts are being prematurely cashed by over investment from crowd funding.

Go back five years, see how many "early access" unpolished piles of garbage were on the market. Look now.

These people need to take game concepts to publishers and get paid properly for doing so then release a proper game.

I've bought 2 Early Access games I haven't regretted. Kerbal Space Program and Minecraft.

All the rest are still unfinished garbage.
