As someone who felt that way before I bought it for the hell of it one day, It definitely plays better then all those games.

The gun mechanics kinda remind me of older SOCOM games, third person but still kinda tactical. Shooting feels pretty good especially earlier on when most people have no armor on. The bullets actually come from your barrel too meaning you can't cheese cover.

Obviously the biggest issues it has right now are its pretty bad optimization, and screen cheating shit by using the third person camera.

I get why it has so many people, but it really needs 1st person only and a few more passes of optimization.
