ITT: Vidya modding Do you mod any games? I'd like to start

You might clarify what you mean op. Do I create mods? No (although I did try to mod Lugaru a long time ago, when I was still in high school). Do I mod games? Yes. Namely whatever Bethesda rpg I am playing to fix broken mechanics or shit graphics. Also, I will occasionally look to mod Deus Ex. I recently tried out gmdx 9, but it feels strange, though I can't quite figure out why.

I mod games. If the game has a mod managing software (like mod organiser for Skyrim and other similar games) I'll use that. It helps keep the game directory clean and makes installing and switching mod loads a breeze. Now please post more cats being cats

Get photoshop, get the dds plugin since basically every game uses dds for textures, learn how to unpack and repack textures of said game, start off with recoloring and work your way up to fancy stuffs

I don't make mods but I occasionally use them. Mostly just cosmetic mods though.
