I have an FX 6300 which is worse and a comperable video card and it's definitely playable. sometimes the frame rate dips pretty fucking hard

My computer is older than yours and probably pretty shit, don't recall specs but it runs just fine for me. The game seems to do pretty well even on toasters

You should be fine on lower settings, if it runs like trash just refund you will know after a match or two and you will still be well below the 2 hour mark.

PUBG is horribly optimized. Even if you have the best hardware it'll still run like shit in some cases regardless.
At least refunds exist if it happens to run like shit.

I played on my 5 year-old gay man laptop when on vacation and it ran fine at 720p

My brother plays it with a GTX 760 and says it's fine, but I doubt he's hitting 60 FPS unless he set everything to low. Sometimes the game just decides to shit the bed and give me a stuttery 45 FPS on a GTX 970 for no reason at all. Boot up the game later in the day at the same settings in the same environment and solid 60. Game just performs however the fuck it wants.

I really want to play this game but I can't upgrade to a new rig until black friday. 4 fucking months.

Is this game going to still even be popular by that point?

I haven't played it very much but when I think FPS drops have something to do with molotovs. I threw a moly when it was 1v1 and my fps tanked during the fight.

i think you can. I played it on a gtx 950. just put it all on low settings at 1080, or if it does't work then, just do 900p
