Well characters are made by different people so theirs inconsistencies. But for the bad ones you get great ones like Zone, Shantae and Gay Spaghetti Chef.

No, it's not. The dialogue is a pool of situational phrases that get liberally repeated. Characters don't reply to each other making it feel very stilted and artificial, the exact opposite of what good writing would be for something like this. It doesn't help that each character talks every single time-- it would be a bit easier to pretend that characters interact if one or two characters just said nothing during phases. You know, how people talk in real life.
What should be more obvious is that the art is absolute shit, but this board commonly defends shitters like Shadman so what are you gonna do? Plebs will be plebs. It's hard to educate someone why something looks bad especially when it can hide behind an anime aesthetic. (inb4 something to the effect of "I'm glad I have bad taste" because this is the only counter-"argument" possible)
The most pressing thing should be that five-card draw blows hard and with auto-recommend one the game pretty much plays itself.

In most cases, it's basically: "Hopefully you're naked soon _____" and they just fill in the blanks with the names of a random character.

But the reactions are rarily personal

They need to add more characters faster.
